Grandparent's Hat on

EMMA is showing a certain Germanic determination for excercice.
Mama's sand castles building explanation takes a time to sink in!

LILLY 9 months (Maxicosi should pay model's fee, but occupant, unfazed by all the adulation, is having a good chew) and of course sand is very good roughage...........

EMMA just 4 yrs

Nappies change has not been part of the course yet but everything else has. Round the playground chasing Emma about replaces any gym exercises. Building and sewing safety gates to keep Lilly contained is all in a day’s work. We have been in Gozo a week and it feels as if we have been entrenched for months. Emma is an absolute character, never stops singing or chatting in a language of her own. Could be the modern Esperanto! Her hearing has greatly improved and it is now a question of wrapping her mind around 3 languages. She shows a great independence and determination that smacks of her Papa’s genes. Her art skills still amaze me. Lilly is such a happy, contented and smiling baby, despite the rough handling she gets from her older sister; all great shows of love you understand. Emma’s intentions towards her are so good. She idolises Lilly. But to be 9 months and a playmate to a 4 years old can be tricky! It is a marvel how a second child gets used to knocks at a very early age. It is part of life's rich pattern…..
